The Pelican Nebula. Also known as IC 5070 or IC 5067. Lies right next to the North America Nebula. In the photo can see part of the Eastern Coast of the North America Nebula.
The gaseious area of the this emission nebula is supposed to ressemble a pelican. I can kinda see it. Well I see a bird like figure but not quite a pelican. I’m not even certain what kind of bird I really see either. Maybe a hawk? Or seagull? Not certain. All I know is what I see is a general bird figure that does not look like a pelican.
