This is the Sadr or also known as Gamma Cygni. It is a supergiant star located in the constellation Cygnus and lies about 1,800 light years away. Sadr also marks the intersection of the Northern Cross. The clouds surrounding Sadr is the diffuse emission nebula IC 1318 (Gamma Cygni Nebula).
