The Eastern Veil Nebula.
About 2500 light years away. Located in the constellation of Cygnus.
All my photos thus far have been from my backyard and with a limited open sky range. So I was lucky for this to come into view to image. I was able to take 134 light images at 60 gain for 300s exposure time. I usually go 120 gain but for some reason set my camera for 60 gain. To be honest, I cannot recall why I changed it.
Regardless I got a good first image of the Eastern Veil Nebula. Decent detail but could be more. Let’s hope I get a ‘next time’ soon.
